2007 Kazakhstan CALTC Mission Trip

Colossians 3:14

“Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity”.

Bible Way sent Senior Pastor Dr. Ivory L. Varner and Pastor Stansberry on a missionary trip to Kazakhstan located in Central Asia.  It is there that the Pastors of Bible Way have the opportunity to teach other Pastors or leaders at the Central Asia Leadership Training Center located in the city of Almaty. We are honored to be able make an impact around the world.  Christ reminds us in Acts 1:8, “but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth." 

CALTC utilizes teachers that are not only experts on their material, but people who are passionate about the material and have experience in bringing that knowledge into real life. Each bringing their own “touch” to the students. Eldos, the director of the Kazak track of CALTC, put it this way, “The thing that has really impressed me about Dr. Varner’s teaching is his emphasis on love. He puts love above knowledge. He teaches that love must be first, loving God and loving people, and we can see that in his life. He teaches that loving God’s word and immersing oneself in it is essential, and we can see he lives by that. It is more than saying, ‘God is love,’ Dr. Varner shows us how to actually love without limit. That’s had a significant impact on my life. ” It’s the “Ivory Touch.”
