Mission Statement

One with God to make Disciples of Christ bearing fruit for the Kingdom.

Our Mission is to make disciples of Christ that bear fruit for the Kingdom.  Jesus instructed all believers to go forth and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.  With the power of the Holy Spirit we will be Christ's witnesses in Jerusalem (Houston), Judea (Texas), Samaria (America) and the ends of the earth (The World).  We will become One Powerful Movement by celebrating God's Presence in worship, communicating God's Word in teaching, edifying God's Family in discipleship and communicating God's Love by evangelizing.

God said unto the prophet Habakkuk, "Record the vision and inscribe it on tablets, that the one who reads it may run.  For the vision is yet for the appointed time; it hastens toward the goal and it will not fail.  Though it tarries, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay." (Habakkuk 2:2-3)

Our Vision at Bible Way Fellowship Baptist Church is to reproduce the image of Oneness according to God's Word.  We will be One in Spirit, One in Mind and One in Behavior.  Spiritual growth will be the basis for making Disciples of Christ to become biblically sound, vision and mission-driven people.
